This is a very interesting claim since this is something that is false since it was covered by CNN that Donald Trump encouraged people to storm the capital. Rioters were mad that Donald Trump lost the election and they were not let in by the police as well. This claim is simply not true and misleading. Police officers were bracing themselves for their lives by trying to stop these people from breaking into the Capitol. Here is more fact checks on this topic covered by CNN a reliable source that is known for covering political media. https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/04/politics/fact-check-capitol-insurrection-january-6-lies/index.html

Good fact check, I agree that this claim is false! To improve your fact check I would recommend adding to your evidence and finding a secondary source, as well as expanding more on HOW we know the claims that democrats orchestrated reduced security and used provocateurs is untrue.

This claim is false and has no credible sources to back it up. The January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol was coerced and planned by far-right supporters of Donald Trump. Only "provocateur" of any kind is Donald Trump himself, urging the crowd to march the crowd and fight. American Oversight states, "The attempted coup was not a spontaneous act." Meaning this was planned out, nobody from the Democratic party has been identified in this heinous attack.
