This is likely false. According to SightEngine the post is 99% likely to be using an AI generated image to back up its claim. I was unable to find any information on Rudy Giuliani's whereabouts on New Year's Eve 2025. Seeing as this post links no source for the claim, it is also likely based on nothing.

Always include a URL to your source (re: SightEngine). Also, is your source a legitimate reference? I've never heard of it, but interested in learning more.

I agree that this claim is false at first glance; the photo used in the claim is clearly AI-generated. To strengthen your factcheck, I'd consider including a source for determining whether a photo is AI-generated. Here's a website I would've recommended to help people recognize AI-generated pictures. (https://insight.kellogg.northwestern.edu/article/ai-photos-identification) Everyone nowadays should be able to tell because these photos can be extremely dangerous and damaging, good job catching that.

This claim is false. The image shown is an AI created image- evidenced by the three fingers on Rudy Guliani's right hand. Artificial Intelligence has a difficult time creating hands- Britannica reports that this could be because hands often appear at differing angles in images that AI is drawing from. This quirk of AI art generation is oftentimes used as a tip-off that an image is AI created. Although there doesn't seem to be any evidence of what Rudy Guliani was genuinely doing on Thanksgiving, this claim is likely satire based on the fact that Guliani owes Georgia election workers upwards of 150 million dollars following his defamation hearing.

The image comes up as ai generated in a image checker, and there is no evidence of where he was on that day.

According to the AI-generated content Detection tool Hive Moderation, this image is 99.99% AI-generated. Debunking the claim that America's Mayor spent New Year squeegeeing car windows. No information on Rudy Giuliani's location this New Year's could be found however with the 99.99% chance this is an AI image the claim can be falsified.
