The claim is that Kamala Harris supporters stormed the Capitol, and are holding Republican leaders who are a part of the House and Senate hostage.
Clicking on the link provided with the claim takes you to a social media website called Blue Sky, which is independent from X, but has the same sort of layout. Considering that "forum" oriented sites like Blue Sky allow users to publish any sort of content that they want, it makes it easy for fake news or misleading content to gain popularity and reach a large number of users.
So keeping this in mind, there is already hesitancy with this claim. Additionally, upon copying and pasting the claim into a separate tab, the credible sources that do come up, such as NPR and CNN, are commenting on the January 6th, 2021 storming of the Capitol by Trump supporters. There is no headlining information about Kamala supporters. One thing that is also unique is the date in which this claim was published, which is exactly one year since the famous insurrection. This could have been intentional, and a way for the claim maker to "stir the pot" even further.
There was also a picture provided under the claim, which was of a large group of people supposedly storming the Capitol in Washington D.C. When searching for this image online, it can be found in a Buzz Feed News article about a Women's March that happened in 2017 after Trump's inauguration. The marchers were supporting women's rights and protesting Trump's agenda. So there is actually no connection whatsoever between the image, and the claim that the user makes.
