But I think some of your wording could use more clarity. For instance, when you say feces have “very little good bacteria,” that’s kind of misleading. Feces are mostly bacteria, and while it’s true that a lot of it isn’t good for you to consume, some of those microbes do play helpful roles in the body (just not when eaten straight-up). That’s actually the whole basis for fecal transplants, which you mention later, and I thought that part was super interesting. Overall, though, I appreciate how you pointed out that medically supervised FMTs are completely different from just randomly ingesting poop, even if some people try to equate them.
