The claim that Jane Goodall died is true. Goodall was a primatologist who worked with chimpanzees in East Africa and was very well known in the wildlifers community. The Wildlife Society states that she died at the age of 91 on October 1st, 2025. The Wildlife Society is known as a reputable and professional organization.

Sadly, the news is true: Jane Goodall has died. At the age of 91 on October 1st, The Wildlife Society describes her as doing "groundbreaking work on the chimpanzee in East Africa,". The Today Show also wrote an article on her passing, saying her death was a result of "Natural Causes".
