Premiums for millions of Americans in both red and blue states are expected to over double on average, unless Congress finds a solution. Currently, open enrollment for health insurance has begun and the Obamacare subsidies are finally set to expire, leaving many people without healthcare. Without Obamacare people are noticing that their healthcare insurance are going to increase via double, or thousands of dollars per month.
The Republicans are under hot pressure from the Democrats following the government shutdown to help fix the healthcare crisis, with the whole house currently looking for solutions. Two Republican senators have been crafting up plans that could help to created funding from the federal government to go to the Obamacare health benefits, but they still would need to get it passed.
