Anyone who has been paying attention to the recent news about the Epstein files knows that President Donald Trump has been against the release of the files. In a recent article by BBC, explaining Trump's change of tune, “Trump wrote on Sunday night that Republicans in the House of Representatives should do so ‘because we have nothing to hide’". This is interesting seeing as though the President himself had been preaching the idea that this call to action was a distraction technique created by the Democratic party. With this new news, the House will have enough votes to pass the bill and release the documents.

In the NBC update published on November 17th, it is explained that President Trump would be willing to sign the bill if it is passed by the House. He explains that he wants to compel the Department of Justice to release the information and his sudden change of tune could get this done. The House is going to vote on this on the 18th of November and if passed, the public will finally see these files.

Think of this as your investigation log. Answer each question to explain what you discovered and how you got there.

1. This claim is irrelevant because according the US Department of Justice they have already released the Epstein files. Making this claim dated.
2. The main source I found was the Department of Justice they official releasers of the files.
3. Many other sources like CNN and BBC covered the release of these files and the findings with in them.
4. The Department of Justice is straight fact. However, the BBC and CNN might make more one sided political takes on the evidence with in the files.
5. Well per the US Department of Justice they have already been released.
6. The only thing is Trump could cause for problems with this evidence being released.

Nice work on your fact-check. Going forward, please provide source links (re: CNN, BBC, and the DOJ that you referenced in your fact-check). Thanks!

This claim is false and gives the reader the complete wrong idea about Donald Trump and his stance on the Epstein files. According the BBC, Trump says America should "move on from Epstein". He has made it clear that he is keen to move on from this subject and those are not the words of someone who wants to continue to release the rest of the information.
