The source of this claim is coming from the media platform Bluesky which is a decentralized, open-source social media platform like X, allowing users to post short messages, images, and videos. This source is not reliable to back up this statement because it is claims being made by anyone that doesn’t need to be fact checked. The source NATO.int listed the founding countries of NATO and Germany wasn’t one of the listen countries. “NATO's founding member countries were: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom and the United States.” now Germany isn’t the only place that Nazi’s resided but, to say that NATO was founded by Nazi’s is absurd when there were so many countries in NATO that fought against Germany in WWI. Furthermore, the person who posted this (@jim1993.bsky.social) has another post about his theories which once again he doesn’t back up with any reliable facts or sources. This supports my claim that this is just a statement with no facts and nothing that should be taken seriously.

This claim comes from Bluesky, a social media site where users can share short messages, pictures, and videos. It's a platform that isn't controlled by one company, like X. This source is not trustworthy because anyone can say anything on it without needing to prove it's true. On the other hand, the official NATO website (NATO. int) shows the original member countries of NATO, and Germany is not one of them. NATO was started by Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

While Nazis were not just in Germany, saying that NATO was started by Nazis is not true and has no evidence. Many of the countries that started NATO fought against Germany in World War II, which shows that this claim is not true. Also, the person who made this post (@jim1993. bskysocial) has shared other ideas that don't have reliable sources or proof either. This further shows that the claim is untrue and shouldn't be believed.

You did a good job pointing out that posts on Bluesky don’t require fact checking and can spread false claims easily. Using NATO’s official website to list the founding countries was strong evidence against the idea that NATO was “founded by Nazis.” It’s also important to note that working with former Nazis during the Cold War is not the same as North Atlantic Treaty Organization being created by them.

You handled this claim very well. Of course if you tried to find most stuff on this you will not find many articles because this is total made up BS. Anyhow you still went and found the Founders of NATO, and the fact that most of if not all of NATO did fight against Nazis. Bluesky is also one of the least reputable places I have ever seen on the internet. If something did come from bluesky I feel like that is instant concern for false news. Since it allows any user to post anything there is a lot of fake stuff. Over all way to go!

I find it interesting that the only evidence you have is from social media, do you possible have any primary reputable sources you could list in addition? It looks like the "proof" is a unrelated blurry video as well, would love to see actual evidence!
