This claim cannot be made without testing the opposite claim. Do more aggressive people play video games? With that being said, studies have shown that playing video games can increase aggression by priming aggressive thoughts.

You provided an explanation as well as a source link, which is great, but try to have include more details like "...the American Psychological Association has found that there..." In addition, if you believe more aggressive people play video games and have supporting evidence, then that is worth adding to debunk the claim (if you have strong evidence). Don't forget to add a rating as well. This one might be "not misinformation, true" if your evidence supports it.

I believe that playing violent video games definitely can desensitize people to violence and aggression, but am not necessarily sure it is true that it makes someone more aggressive

Nice job providing your personal view on this. When conducting strong fact-checks you should let the supporting evidence demonstrate the rating (true? false?). So rather than say "I believe" you can say "The American Psychological Association or CNN has found that...." and then include the pertinent details or data. You provided a link but your explanation isn't closely aligned to it. Also, don't forget to add a rating to your fact-check.

the idea of video games promoting aggressive behaviors, reducing pro-social behavior and leading to ore impulsive nature is the result of priming. After conducting their study they determined that long-term effects of aggressive behavior were not present, however, short-term effects of video game exposure have lead to increases in aggressive thoughts and less likelihood to help others.

There is research suggesting that playing violent video games makes people more aggressive. According to the American Psychological Association, because gamers have to identify as an attacker in the games, they are more likely to be violent in real life than watching violent tv shows or movies. Playing violent video games causes the players to have violent thoughts
