After looking at the reliable website https://www.wiscran.org/cranberries/ I found that in Wisconsin cranberries are grown on 21,000 acres of land in 20 different counties. "The sand and peat marshes in central and northern Wisconsin create the perfect growing conditions for cranberries". There is also a youtube video made by this company better explaining the centuries of cranberry farming Wisconsin has done making it by far one of biggest cranberry growing regions. Cranberries are Wisconsins state fruit for a reason because they harvest more than 60% of the country's crop.

I found information regarding Wisconin's 2021 cranberry production on Statista. Statista is peer reviewed and tester prior to publication, and is therefore a reliable source of information. According to Statista, in 2021 Wisconsin was the top producer of cranberries, producing "4.17 million barrels". Massachusetts was the second highest producer of cranberries, producing 1.8 million barrels. Based on the information provided by Statista, I would conclude that the information by Tony Evers is factual.

It is a reliable site and it gives information about how,  "Wisconsin is the leading producers of cranberries, producing 59 percent of the U.S. crop in 2021." This is a little outdated, so I proceeded to find other sources that are more current and came across https://www.wiscran.org/cranberries/. This site, which is also reliable since its focus is Wisconsin Cranberries, mentions that "Wisconsin is the nation’s leading producer of cranberries, harvesting more than 60 percent of the country’s crop." If you scroll down on the page that the link directs you too, it is dated for 2023. To make sure, I did a couple more searches under "Wisconsin Cranberry Production" and numerous articles claiming that Wisconsin is the nation's top cranberry producer come up. They all confirm the same information and claim.
