There is no evidence to support the claim that Bill Gates' lab-grown meat causes cancer in humans. Currently, here have been no reports of lab-grown meat causing cancer in humans. In fact, some experts suggest that lab-grown meat may be healthier than conventionally produced meat, as it can be produced without the use of antibiotics, hormones, or other harmful additives.

This claim comes from the fact that the cells in lab grown meat reproduce very quickly, similar to cancer cells. We cannot decide whether these are true or not. Even though an article written by Jaydee Hansen said 

"there are several human health concerns associated with this new production method, specifically that these genetically-modified cell lines could exhibit the characteristics of a cancerous cell."

but they are just a characteristics, we cannot say it will cause cancer.

The fact of the matter is that the creation of synthetic meats hasn't been long enough to understand whether or not they cause cancer. According to Lucas Smith, "The cells used to create meat in a lab can technically be labeled pre-cancerous, but Smith said it would be “virtually impossible” to contract cancer from eating another animal, even if the meat contained cancer".  It's a bit unpredictable to already see the effects of eating primarily synthetic meat.
