This statement can be considered to be true. According to an article by Australian Eggs, "Vulnerable people or those with compromised immune systems- including children, pregnant women, and elderly people- should not eat foods that contain raw eggs." The article emphasizes that for elderly people, eggs should always be cooked properly in order to eliminate the risk of food poisoning. This is something that elderly people should be cautious of because their bodies have to fight harder at combating illnesses like food poisoning.

This statement is true. According to an article from Australian Eggs, "Vulnerable people or those with compromised immune systems- including children, pregnant women, and elderly people- should not eat foods that contain raw eggs." The article emphasizes the fact that elderly people are more at risk when they contract food poisoning, as their bodies are not strong enough to fight off aggressive illnesses. For this reason, elderly people should ensure that their eggs are fully cooked to avoid the dangers that can arise from consuming raw eggs.

This is true. Raw eggs are generally not safe to eat if they are unpasteurized, because they can contain harmful bacteria. They are particularly dangerous if you are part of a high-risk community, including the elderly, children, pregnant women, and immunocompromised individuals, because food-borne illnesses can be more dangerous if they don't have the immune system to fight it off.

It won't necessarily give you salmonella or another type of food poisoning, but the risk is high as the egg is not cooked or heat treated.

Raw eggs can be dangerous for elderly people, as they are at higher risk of contracting foodborne illnesses due to a weakened immune system. Raw eggs may contain Salmonella bacteria, which can cause food poisoning and other serious health problems in elderly people.

According to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), the elderly, young children, pregnant women, and individuals with weakened immune systems should avoid consuming raw or undercooked eggs or foods containing raw eggs, such as homemade mayonnaise or raw cookie dough.

This claim is true. Not only is eating raw eggs dangerous for the elderly, but it poses risks to people of all age groups. According to an article by Community Healthcare, consuming raw eggs increases the chances of someone getting salmonella or other food-borne illnesses and the risk is especially high for the elderly.

"...raw and undercooked eggs can actually be very dangerous for seniors. This is because raw eggs present a salmonella risk and can have unfortunate health consequences for seniors. In light of this, seniors shouldn’t eat raw eggs and should avoid foods like unpasteurized eggnog, French toast, homemade Cesar dressing and hollandaise sauce, all of which include undercooked eggs in some form or another."

The claim that raw eggs are dangerous for elderly people is true. This is because raw eggs have the risk of salmonella, which can have serious health consequences for seniors. According to the website, The Graham Agency, "At present, the FSA’s advice to consumers is that eating raw eggs, eggs with runny yolks or any food that is uncooked or only lightly cooked and contains raw eggs, may cause food poisoning and warns vulnerable groups against eating them".

Because of multiple sources claiming that raw eggs are dangerous for old people this claim can be deemed true.
