Someone from a Discord server leaks government data about the Ukraine and Russia wars. This seems to be in response to not being liked on their server, so they try to gain "clout" by leaking this information.

According to AP News, "the posts appear to have gone unnoticed outside of the chat until a few weeks ago when they began to circulate more widely on social media and get picked up by major news outlets. The leaks have alarmed U.S. officials and sparked a Justice Department investigation." Apart from AP News, The Washington Post also wrote an article regarding this leak stating that "he’s a smart person. He knew what he was doing when he posted these documents, of course. These weren’t accidental leaks of any kind." They even included a video of the supposed leaks.

Yes this is true. A 21 year old was arrested recently as he gained access to classified information which he then proceeded to share in a small discord group. However, it went further than that once a member of that original group started circulating it in other servers as well. I am not entirely sure if this was to gain "clout" but it can be seen as a high possibility.

This is a true statement. There was a 21 year old that was arrested this past Thursday because he exposed a large amount of classified information via discord about the Russia Ukraine war. These leaks were not on accident either. The 21 year old did this on purpose, but the current reasoning is unknown.
