According to USAToday, the video which initially began popularizing the conspiracy theory was a result of the video acknowledging the existence of the conspiracy theory. However, no one in the video confirmed that the theory was true. There is no evidence that suggests the CIA was complicit in the assassination of JFK.

Your answer isn't sensible. Simply stating that there is no evidence doesn't factcheck RFK's claim that there is abundant evidence.

The blog post from the Hill also doesn't provide any abundant evidence that you say is present to support the claim. Is there something more concrete and convincing? I noticed within The Hill blog post that  Kennedy Jr. stated: "Robert Kennedy Jr. said evidence of CIA involvement in his father’s death is 'very convincing, but is circumstantial.'"

I have found that there are many different opinions on weather or not the CIA was involved in JFKs assassination, according to The Hill and a few other sources I saw it is believed that the CIA was involved. Robert Kennedy JR "there was overwhelming evidence" and he thinks it had to do with the fact that JFK did not want to send US forces to veitnam and he wanted to keep the country out of war.

I like the information that you gave about this claim. It does indeed make the claim seem like an opinion, as the main source of the claim seems to be Robert Kennedy JR. A link to the source would be great.

The provided article does not explicitly claim that the CIA was involved in JFK's assassination. It discusses newly discovered records from the National Archives that reveal a previously unknown relationship between the CIA and the President of Mexico, involving a telephone tap operation on Lee Harvey Oswald before JFK's assassination. It does not directly implicate the CIA in the assassination itself. The article focuses on various records and details related to events in the 1960s, including those involving Martin Luther King Jr. and Cuban intelligence.

I thought you had a good fact check. I like how you included the National Archives as a source.

There is little-to-no evidence pointing in either direction from the article. Another article I found details the release of thousands of unedited documents pertaining to the case by the government, yet still provides no clear data to approve or disprove the statement other than conjecture. The article only brings up the possibility of data supporting that Lee Harvey Oswald had prior intentions to assassinate JFK unrelated to the CIA or any conspiracy.

“"I suspect there may be information in these documents to suggest that other people knew before the Kennedy assassination that this man Lee Harvey Oswald was a danger and that he may have talked openly about his intention to kill the president," he tells BBC News.”

The nature of this claim is conspiracy, people may have theories but evidence supporting this claim has never been legitimized.  Brown Political Review has an interesting article about the JFK assassination files still being unreleased when Trump and Biden have both pushed back their release dates during their presidencies; the reporter writes, "We may never know if JFK’s death was the act of a lone shooter or a CIA coup d’état. But we do know that the intelligence community helped manufacture this uncertainty and will continue to suppress information," (Braner 2022).  While Robert Kennedy Jr believes the CIA had involvement of his uncle's assissnation, and his recent statement made waves amongst the theorists in this movement, the evidence is unfounded to the general public and remains a conspiracy.
