Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) will soon introduce articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden under a privileged resolution. Are her claims true? Greene's specific claims are:

  • Biden took a $5 million bribe from a Ukrainian oligarch in order to get Viktor Shokin fired.
  • Biden's family members received millions of dollars from foreign nationals and businesses in Ukraine.
  • Biden abused his power as vice president to enrich his family.

Is any of this true? Thank you in advance for your answers!

The claim header and the claim text are a bit confusing. The claim header is true, I believe. But when taking into account the entire text, upon opening the page, the claim isn't true. I would try to be a bit more clear when creating a header or more comprehensive, going forward. Otherwise, nice work on your claim!

According to an article by Alex Kasprak, "an alleged bribe surrounding the Ukrainian oil company Burisma, involved a $5 million bribe to the Bidens via Hunter Biden, who took position on Burisma's board of directors in 2014. In return for this cash and a high-paying position for his son, Biden would force Ukrainian authorities to remove former Prescutor General Viktor Shokin who- it was claimed- had been investigating Burisma for corruption and other crimes." The whistleblower, is allegedly a long-time FBI informant with knowlege of an FD-1023, a summary document of raw intelligence tips received by FBI agents, in the agency's possesion. The document, allegedly has 15 audio recordings between him and Hunter Biden and two phone call recording between him and then- VP Biden. It should be noted that, no organization or agency has confirmed that these tapes exist. There is no hard evidence to confirm Biden and his family received millions of dollars from foreign nationals and businesses in Ukraine. There are many allegations, but no one has been able to provide evidence that Biden or his family members received money in exchange for political actions.

Very informative Fact-Check Tavarus! To your point, no organization or agency has confirmed that these tapes exist. There is also no hard evidence to confirm that Biden and his family received millions of dollars from foreign nationals and businesses in Ukraine. There is not enough evidence to determine if this is true or not...
