This post is false information. Neither Taylor Swift nor Travis Kelce are on record as making that claim.   This post on X was made by an account that posts and is exclusively pro-Trump and pro-GOP. This user posts content that is designed to get the audience upset. There is also a fact check under this tweet, which shows this claim is false.

This claim appears to be untrue. While some celebrities have said similar things, Travis Kelce and Taylor swift have not.  However there has been quotes and statements made by the two of them that show they are more left leaning when it comes to political stance. FactCheck.org debunks this statement by saying both people have recently invested in properties, which could mean they are not planning on leaving the United States. While this does not completely provide information on the quotes themselves, it does back up that this claim could be false. Reuters, which is a source dedicated to fact checking, also says that this claim is not true. While Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have openly stated their political beliefs before, they never said they would leave the US if Trump won. X, which is the source who posted the claim, is an unreliable source that often provides false political claims.

This is just blatantly not true: neither Taylor nor Travis have mentioned anything about their political stances or if they will leave based on who is the president later this year. Although there may be some buzz around Taylor leaning one way politically or Travis doing the phyzer advertisements there is no solid evidence to support this claim.

It is important to clarify the lack of truth in the statement. Neither Taylor nor Travis have openly stated their intentions regarding leaving the United States if the former president were to win the 2024 election. The tweet also includes a fact-checking aspect by providing a link to an article that presents celebrities who have expressed their plans to leave. In the weeks leading up to the Superbowl on Sunday, there were Trump supporters on social media who expressed their opposition towards Swift and Kelce. It is worth mentioning that Swift had previously encouraged her fans to vote in September 2023, while Kelce had participated in advertisements promoting the Pfizer vaccine. Therefore, although Swift and Kelce hold political views that oppose Trump, it seems that the discourse primarily originates from Trump supporters.

The claim that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced they would leave the country if Donald Trump wins the 2024 presidential election is false. Reuters has confirmed that there is no evidence to support this statement, and neither Swift nor Kelce have made any such announcement. This situation underscores the importance of verifying information before believing or sharing it, especially in the context of rumors or claims circulating on social media or other platforms.
