This claim is true. Through my research, I found other articles confirming the claim in informational Instagram text post. I wanted to look into who the user who published the information was- Impact. They are an efficiently organized group, with a large number of followers. Arguably, they are quite established because of their presence on multiple social platforms, and they are widely recognized. I don't think they intend to harm or mislead, which their claims solidify as they are not spreading wrong information- it is factual.

This claim is true. According to Supermarket News, "Currently, 79% of the Gen Z population choose to go meatless one day a week, and 65% say they want a more plant-forward diet." The article also says that Gen Z doesn't view plant-based food options as a separate choice. It is simply another option of grocery store foods. Flexitarian diets, a flexible eating style that emphasizes the addition of plant or plant-based foods and beverages, incorporates dairy and eggs and encourages meat to be consumed less frequently and/or in smaller portions, is becoming more popular than vegan or vegetarian diets. Compared to older generations, they "don’t have the same level of urgency and therefore aren't as likely to make choices solely based on the environment (Business Wire).
