Recently there has been a lot of drama surrounding Selena Gomez on the internet. She has remained unproblematic but as of recently she has been seen going on dinner dates with Zayn Malik in New York. Gigi Hadid, his ex, even released a statement saying she was happy for him.

Recently, there indeed has been a lot of drama surrounding Selena Gomez on the internet. One of which includes her supposedly dating Zayn Malik. A lot of sources on the internet including pop star gossip has been also mentioning similar things as well, but neither party has yet to confirm. There are "sources" show have claimed to see them together at a restaurant  in New York recently but that for one does not mean they are necessarily dating. The fact that neither Zayn, Selena, even their family members or spokespeople have yet to confirm i would say the claim is exaggerated for now.

According to other claim that Gigi Hadid even released a statement that is a bit misleading as she herself did not say anything but a source claimed Gigi said "Gigi has no problem whatsoever with Zayn dating," revealed the source before adding, "As long as he is happy and stable and continues to be a good co-parent to Khai [Gigi and Zayn's 2 year old daughter], she's fine with whoever he goes out with."

The TikTok revealed the two friends' text thread talking about the couple "walked in hand in hand and making out." Selena Gomez has certainly been getting a lot of attention in the media, and this is something that could possibly bring even more attention to the celebrity. According to an article written by Hannah Dailey, Music News Writer at Billboard Selena and Zayn were seen "getting cozy together on a restaurant date in New York City". Reporters said they saw them holding hands, and kissing throughout this date which caused for all the talk and rumors that the two may be dating. Although there was so much coverage, support from fans, and hype about the topic nothing has been proven to be true or false that the two celebrities are dating.

However, according to buzzfeed there was an alleged waitress that spotted the two on a "date" at the restaurant she worked at. She texted her friend “Tell me how Selena Gomez and Zayn just walked into [the restaurant] hand in hand making out and I seated them.” However there is no mention of the restaurant name or any other details so this could easily be made up.

I think since there have been many sighting of Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik together there is enough room to make assumptions. But this has never been confirmed by anyone. Other rumors started circling about Gomez cheating on former boyfriend Justin Bieber with Malik. But again just rumors and this was never truly confirmed by any of the stars.
