This claim is not true and satirical. This website has right leaning affiliations and they seem to be targeting Kelce and even Taylor Swift as they are both democrat voters.

The claim that the Kansas City Chiefs won’t be re-signing Travis Kelce's contract is false. The source of this claim is The Dunning-Kruger Times, a satirical news site. On the “About Us” page on its official website, the company refers to itself as a “network of parody, satire, and tomfoolery,” and calls its content “junk news.” This showcases that The Dunning-Kruger Times is not known for its credibility and truthfulness since its main focus is to create satirical content for the public. Additionally, when using Google to search “KC Chiefs not re-signing Travis Kelce,” no articles have headlines or information that supports this claim. There have also been no official statements on this claim made by the NFL, or the Kansas City Chiefs themselves. When plugging in this claim to perplexity.ai, a fact-check conducted by Kaiyah Clarke for the site, “Lead Stories' ', is linked, debunking the claim that the KC Chiefs will not renew Kelce's contract. Both Fox Sports, StyleCaster, and Spotrac, Kelce is currently in a four-year contract with the KC Chiefs.

This post is beyond false. It comes from a satirical website known for publishing fabricated content. This website disclaimer even reads "Everything on this website is fiction." Overall, this claim is false, has no background information, and is just people trying to troll.

This claim seems to be misleading and satirical. Travis Kelce has defined himself as a legend in the NFL already with three super bowl rings under his belt, the claim that his teammates saying they're done with his "sideshow" must be satire. This article was posted by the Dunning-Kruger Times which is a far-right leaning website. Kelce affiliates with left leaning politics which gives the appearance that Dunning-Kruger may be out to make fun of him.

This claim is false and satire.

The source itself, The Dunning-Kruger Times, says that their "a subsidiary of the 'America's Last Line of Defense' network of parody, satire, tomfoolery, or as Snopes called it before they lost their war on satire: Junk News" (from their 'About Us' section on their website). They also wrote that "satire is the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose or criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues." In this case, they used satire to talk about how huge Taylor Swift's and Travis Kelce's relationship is right now in pop culture.

In terms of the claim, I looked up the claim that the Kansas City Chiefs will not re-sign him, and I found no sources that support this claim, but a source called Lead Stories, which also fact-checked this claim, and also found no evidence that the claim is correct.

The claim is completely false. First off, the website states that it is based on satire, parody, and tomfoolery. In their own words, they describe themselves as "junk news". Second, there is no other site that has made a similar claim of Travis Kelce not being welcomed back by Kansas City. Some articles discuss the possibility of retirement, such as the one below from USA Today. The reports say nothing about the Chief's desirability to bring him back but they also haven't announced they won't be resigning him.

I am immediatly suspicious of this source's legitimacy because of the prompt that initially pops up with the options of "I am a democrat" or "I trust you", this gives the viewer the que that this must be a left leaning biased website. Biased websites are automatically harder to trust. This website is for sure meant to have a satirical effect. After doing a general search I can say this sources information is entirely false.

This is untrue. Travis Kelce signed a six-year contract in 2020, so his contract is currently not being negotiated due to this term still being active. The original source for this appears to be a satire site, but some felt he clashed with his head coach during the Superbowl which spread similar rumors online. I have linked an article where it is explained that the controversy is overblown to further discredit the claim.

As an avid Chiefs fan Travis Kelce is going nowhere. He still has one year left on his deal and has stated multiple times in numerous different ways that he wants to "play until the wheels fall off".

As for this article, it can fool some but I believe that it is sarcasm and satire motivated.

As an avid football fan, I can confirm that free agency doesn't start until March 11th. The Chiefs can certainly decide to not resign Kelce on his current contract, but they will probably sign him to a new deal. Albeit, this is pure speculation. There is no certainty in regards to where he will play next year. However, after winning a second Super Bowl in a row and going for a 3-peat (never happened in NFL), Kelce might make a team friendly deal to keep the show going. Until March 11, when NFL Free Agency opens, there is no telling what Kelce's next move is. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2022/10/18/23410606/chiefs-restructure-travis-kelces-contract-clearing-2022-cap-space

This is a false claim. Dunning-Kruger Times is a satirical site by its own admission, describing itself as a “subsidiary of ‘The America’s Last Line of Defense’ network of parody, and tomfoolery.” Its source, Joe Barron, is not the Vice President of Football Operations and has no record of existence outside of Dunning Kruger, at least not within this context. Snopes has disclosed that this is a fictional person created by the parody site. Furthermore, there are no reports from any credible publication about Kelce’s supposed termination from the team, including the Kansas Chiefs official website.
